Mountainbiking in Naseby

Big Si and I spent Easter mountainbiking in the forests of Naseby. Great mountainbiking as always! They have now marked the tracks, so you don't get lost and have provided maps.

Taylors Mistake

This past weekend, we drove out to Taylors Mistake and went on a ramble. We walked out on the Godley Head track out to the gun emplacements which used to defend Christchurch against the Japanese. A lovely warm autumnal day. There were plenty of people still surfing, albeit in wet suits.

Mount Thomas

Well, we did not quite make it to the top, but it was a lovely day, and we will have to climb it another day.
